With over 50 years of experience in the team, conveyancing is our bread and butter. Please ask us to look over contracts before you sign them, we get so nervous when the first time we see a contract it has your signature already on it. There are lots of things you need to check when buying a house and we are very experienced at checking the fine print. Auctions are particularly nerve-racking and we are very happy to help and even attend auctions on your behalf
Wills and EPA's
We pride ourselves on keeping our wills to less than a page. We don’t always achieve it… But you can be sure that your will will be easy to understand.
We can draft enduring powers of attorney that are easy to understand, and reflect the levels of trust in your relationships. However, they are long complex documents which need to be done carefully.
Relationship property
Often resolving relationship property division is the most stressful part of breaking up. We know that the most important number in a relationship property transaction is your blood pressure number! We can help make this process as simple as we can. The more you can work collaboratively with your ex, the smaller our invoice will be. A surprising number of transactions can be sorted out amicably if the right approach is taken.
Commercial Leases
These are a big deal! Sometimes small clauses can have long lasting consequences. We can help you to get leases right! The ADLS commercial lease is a great starting point but often needs lots of work to make it right for you.
Estate Admin
When the time comes, we love helping with estates. We make application for probate as simple as possible, despite this being a picky procedure.
Distributing the estates as soon as possible is our goal but sometimes we have to delay things to make sure everybody is protected. We try to get families to work on helping as much as possible to keep costs down.
Transferring Business
From the corner dairy to large farm transactions…. we can help you with buying or selling your business. Often most of the work is doing the deal at the start and the sooner we can start working with you the better.
